The house behind the fragrance / 1760
Creed
Creed traces its origins to a London tailoring house founded in 1760. Its fragrance identity retains a connection with that heritage of craftsmanship.

When I tried Aventus Cologne, this version didn’t particularly inspire me. Yes, it’s distinctive, good in its own way. But it’s a different Aventus. Different is the word — and it didn’t do much for me. A little simpler, to my mind.
It lacks many of the nuances I enjoy in the classic Aventus. So perhaps it’s best approached on its own terms, rather than expecting the same character.
Longevity — perhaps a four, around four hours. But I can’t remember precisely now: I haven’t used it in a long time. I had some samples, finished them and never went back to this perfume.
Still, I’ll keep it here in the selection for anyone curious about it. Everyone’s taste is different, and someone else may well enjoy it. That’s just how it went for me — I tried it, got to know it, but didn’t feel like taking things any further.
Then again, that’s my opinion, and it’s under no obligation to match yours. Just as your nose is under no obligation to match mine.
