The house behind the fragrance / 2019
Bibliothèque de Parfum
Bibliothèque de Parfum is a Ukrainian niche fragrance brand founded in Kharkiv in 2019. Its perfume-library concept gives each fragrance a name and a story of its own.

Well, here we are at one of the so-called Creed Aventus clones. Though I’d still say it’s not quite a clone, but a perfume inspired by it.
Looking at the note pyramid, you might think it’s a complete copy. But here, as with other Bibliothèque de Parfum fragrances I know, the emphasis is different. The foundation seems familiar, yet the result is a creation of its own. There’s pineapple, there’s birch, and there’s smoke too — but it develops differently. Yes, something about it recalls Aventus, but in the end, this is a different perfume with its own character.
A very good choice for everyday wear. If you like Creed Aventus as a fragrance but don’t like its price, Brutal Story is worth a look. A worthy rival, let’s say. I think it doesn’t get enough attention yet. Perhaps some people simply pass over an unfamiliar Ukrainian brand. A shame — it’s worth getting to know.
I’d consider it for almost any time of year, especially spring, summer and autumn. It feels perfectly at home in both warm and cool weather. As for longevity — probably a six, after all: I’d say it lasts around six hours. Sometimes longer, but a lot depends on the weather and the conditions you wear it in.
Overall, it’s very respectable perfumery. Especially when you take the cost into account. I wouldn’t call these fragrances dirt cheap: more a little below the middle of the price range. But for that money, you get a good niche perfume.
I won’t say ‘exquisite’. I’ll put it more simply: good. That’s my opinion.
